Hi, I'm Zimi Lingani.

I'm Zimi Lingani, born and raised in Xhobani (Esingeni), a small village in Centane in the Eastern Cape. I'm an only child, and this little corner of the internet is where I share more of who I am: my roots, the things I love, the moments I want to remember, and the person I'm becoming.

Football takes up a very generous share of my time. I support Manchester United and Real Madrid, but United will always be my first love. Away from football, I love a good laugh and smiling.

Lending a helping hand matters to me. If someone is struggling and there's something I can do, I find it hard to look the other way, even when helping means going out of my way. I also enjoy challenges and working on things that push me to learn and bring out the best in me.

Academically, I hold a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and a BSc Honours in Data Science. I work in the data space, and I'm exploring web development by building this website one piece at a time.

I'm still a work in progress. I make mistakes, I don't always get things right with other people, and sometimes my ego gets in the way of making things right. I'm learning to recognise those moments, take responsibility, and do better. This website is a place to document that journey too, alongside the achievements, laughter, and everyday memories.
